CampIN

CampIN OT

This service is InGym’s occupational therapy group program during the school calendar year. The program transitions to an Intensive occupational therapy program in the summer! In these sessions, your child will be encouraged to participate in functional leisure activities that are broken down step by step to enhance their skills in: gross motor, fine motor coordination, visual motor, social skills, body/spatial awareness, and executive function. Our OT coaches will meet your child at their level and create appropriate challenges to promote functional skill growth.

The leisure activity will run for six weeks at a time, similar to seasonal sports in the community. For summer CampIN, the same leisure activity runs five days a week with a different leisure activity the next week. To qualify for summer CampIN participants must register for at least two hours/day for all five days. Leisure activities include: Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Martial Arts, Skateboarding, Volleyball and Tennis/Pickleball.

Leisure Skills CampIN

  • This service is available to participants not seeking occupational therapy medical treatment. Leisure Skills CampIN is lead by InGym’s Adaptive Personal Trainer implementing leisure activities in a group, but excluding the occupational therapy practice framework. This service is non-reimbursable by medical insurance as the service is provided by a non-allied health clinician.
